Happy Halloween!

My son had his Halloween party for his preschool class this week, and the kids were able to bring in a sweet treat to share. I would have loved to pull up one of my fancy Pinterest Halloween treat recipes, but there just wasn’t any time for that on Tuesday night. I figured to 4 and 5 year olds Halloween is all about the candy anyway, and I happened to have stampable paper pouches that I purchased while they were available from Close To My Heart’s While Supplies Last Section. There are some great deals there and it is updated regularly!! If you haven’t checked out that section I highly recommend you do so!

These bags took me just a few minutes to prepare and finish! Now the stamp set I happened to use is retired, but Close To My Heart has a great variety of holiday stamps to suit any need or any holiday!  There are also multiple ways to secure the bags including Baker’s Twine and Hook & Loop Velcro Dots. These bags were a big hit with the kids and they couldn’t wait to see what treats were waiting inside!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FRIENDS!

Double Challenge

The sketch I’m using today is from The Deconstructed Sketch.

Here is my card:

This post is going to be short and sweet today because this entire card was created using the Workshop On The Go® Laughing Lola Scrapbooking Kit. You read it right!!! ALL of the papers, stamped images, and hemp are included in the kit.

The only add ons are the Black Pigment Ink available in the Basic Exclusive Inks® Mini Pigment Pads Set and the Clear Detail Embossing Powder to add the shine to the flower.

When I saw this sketch I knew it would also work perfect for the current Heart 2 Heart Challenge, Lace. When I think of lace my mind automatically goes to the frilly, doily kind of lace, BUT there are multiple definitions for lace including what I did on this card with the hemp. So this card is a double feature. It is entered into both The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge and the Heart 2 Heart Challenge.
