Here’s another peek at a NEW paper packet, Lollydoodle, from the soon to be released Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book {2/1/2014}.

This card is linked to the Freshly Made Sketches for their most current sketch challenge, and is also linked to the Heart 2 Heart Blog for their most current challenge {Two-Faced: Using both sides of patterned paper} The gray pattern and the pink pattern are both from the same piece Lollydoodle paper! The card I made today is once again made with two of my favorite new paper packets, Ariana & Timberline, from the soon to be released Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book {2/1/2014}. The floral base layer and the leaves are from the Ariana Paper Packet, and the tree base is from the Timberline Paper Packet. {Woodgrain is one of my absolutes faves, and I’m so excited that this new paper packet features that design!}

I painted a thin layer of brown acrylic paint, and used the Artbooking Cricut® Cartridge and CCR to size the polaroid frame, the tree, and the leaves. I would have loved to use chipboard for the frame but didn’t have the size I needed, so I cut three layers of Colonial White Cardstock instead.  I also touched the leaves up with a sponge dauber, Blush Exclusive Ink®, and placed 3D Foam Tape under random leaves. To finish the card, I used the Banner Wishes Stamp Set and Chocolate Exclusive Ink® for the sentiment.
