AHSC #120

I’m back again! My son heads back to school on Friday, which happens to be my day off, so I’m hoping to have a little more time to blog and get caught up on my recent projects! But today I have another AHSC #120!

AHSC120

CTMH: Blossom WOTG

I started by layering Colonial White Cardstock and Black Cardstock. I used the Blossom Cardmaking Workshop On The Go® to create the flowers in Black Exclusive Ink™ and Ruby Exclusive Ink™. I grabbed a piece of black tulle and a scrap piece of polka dot paper. I then added a bow of black twine to finish the card. I purposefully did not add a sentiment to this card. This card can be used for many occasions-sympathy, birthday, wedding-when the occasion arises I will add the sentiment!

CTMH: Jackson, Glitter Glam & Joyful Birthday

Sunday was my dad’s birthday so I was in the need of a masculine (the hardest kind!) birthday card. I grabbed Colonial White Cardstock and my Jackson Paper Packet and used CCR with the Art Philosophy Cricut® Cartridge to create the panels. Next I grabbed the Glitter Glam (sounds like an oxymoron for a masculine card, doesn’t it?!?) Stamp Set. Using Juniper, Barn Red, Glacier Exclusive Ink™, Versamark™ and Gold Embossing Powder I created the randomly stamped backdrop. I altered the sketch slightly by moving the vellum with the Joyful Birthday heat embossed sentiment to the bottom of the card. I used Liquid Glass to adhere the vellum to the cardstock and a (retired) wood button with (retired) waxy flax to finish the card!
