Last Day!

Tomorrow {5/31/14} is the last day to get your hands on two fantastic products! The Free To Be Me Paper Packet and May’s Stamp Of The Month! Both of these products are available for only $5 each with a qualifying purchase of $50!

Free To Be Me  May SOTM

I stumbled upon this sketch by Sweet Paper Treats on Pinterest, and I knew exactly how I wanted to use the SOTM!

CTMH: Free To Be Me

Using resist patterned cardstock from the Free To Be Me Paper Packet, I added a layer on top of the white card base. Next I grabbed the Oodles Of Doodles Stamp Set, Lagoon Exclusive Ink™, and cut the banner using the Artiste Cricut® Cartridge. The sentiment is stamped using Black Stazon™ Ink on White Daisy Cardstock and another piece of cardstock from the Free To Be Me paper packet. That’s one of the bonuses of this paper packet. One side has a glossy resist pattern and the other side is just normal cardstock- perfect for stamping!! For the final touch I added a few Aqua Dots.

Explosion Card

Today I will be making a 3D Explosion Card using the Balloon Ride Paper Packet and the Give A Lift Stamp Set!!!!

Explosion cards are a  hot trend right now and this was my first attempt! They are perfect to send in the mail {would require a custom envelope} because they lay flat and then they pop open!!

Using Saddle Cardstock and Balloon Ride B&T Duos™ I created the card base, adding the zip strip to the flaps of the box. The hot air balloons {from the Give A Lift Stamp Set} are stamped on Colonial White Cardstock using Saddle Exclusive Ink™. I used CTMH’s Watercolor Pencils {temporarily unavailable} and a Blending Pen to add color. I added clouds cut at various sizes from the Cricut® Artiste Cartridge and gave added dimension using the Dot Embossing Folder.
