Fall Theme Continues

If you are a frequent visitor of my blog you’ll notice that I’m on a fall kick.  One reason is the weather outside is gorgeous right now but another is my craft table pretty much turns into a construction zone when I scrapbook. Paper is everywhere, embellishments thrown about, my paper trimmer inevitably disappears at least 3 or 4 times underneath all the mess. Because of all this I tend to stick with a theme rather than clean up! haha! So I have another fall themed layout for you today.

There are multiple labels on this layout including Crate Paper, Dear Lizzy, Simple Stories, CTMH, and more names that escape me because I’ve either removed the items from their original packaging or I’ve cut off the zip strips losing their labels.  The burgundy polka dotted paper was just a little too bold and I felt like it was drowning out my photos. I mentioned in previous posts that I’ve recently fallen in love with Big Picture Classes and one of the classes is 5 Ways To Use Gesso. So to help mute the burgundy color I created a white wash using Gesso. I’m loving the gold leaf sequins so I had to tuck them anywhere I could find any open spot! These are a couple of my all time favorite fall photos. My niece and son playing in the leaves. The smiles and expressions are priceless!!

Fall is the Theme

I’m back again with another fall layout.

#simplestories #thecutshoppe #ctmh #pathfinding

I started with a Cosmo Cricket cardstock that I sponged clouds using a Crafter’s Workshop stencil and CTMH Glacier Exclusive Ink™. I then started adding layers of washi, Simple Stories-Sweater Weather paper, random embellisments from the retired CTMH Pathfinding Collection, Recollections, Dear Lizzy, and I’m sure there are a few other brands scattered about. I again used the Leaf It To Me die from The Cut Shoppe that is colored using pearlescent watercolor paints. The photos are matted using heavily sanded CTMH Honey Cardstock.

I’m again linking this layout to The Cut Shoppe Blog October Challenge.
