CTMH | Papercrafting with Kelly Janes

Today is Mother’s Day. I am so incredibly thankful for my mom!! She has been there through ALL the ups & downs. Never judging. Just always listening, giving support and advice. I am so grateful for all the sacrifices she has made for all four of her children and now her grandkids too!!!

Here is the card I made her based off the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

I started with a Whisper Cardstock base, and then added a layer of B&T from the Ariana Paper Packet. The cute little tag is cut in Blush Cardstock using the Artbooking Cricut® Cartridge. To give the tag definition I used a Sponge Dauber and Blush Exclusive Ink™ around the edge of the tag .

I used a couple different stamp sets for this card. The border along the B&T Duo™ is from the Ariana Workshop On The Go™ Scrapbooking Kit stamped in Whisper Exclusive Ink™, and the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment is from the Holiday Tags Stamp Set in Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink™. I used a Corner Rounder on the cardstock and the B&T Duo™ just to give it a softer touch. This card is just as the challenge says. Clean and simple.

Here is a recent birthday card I made to celebrate a special little girl’s first birthday!!

The details:

The adorable elephants, the stand and the hats are from the CTMH Big Top Stamp Set using CTMH’s Slate Exclusive Ink™, Lagoon Exclusive Ink™, Pear Exclusive Ink™, Gypsy Exclusive Ink™, and Honey Exclusive Ink™. The banners {in CTMH’s Honey Cardstock, Gypsy Cardstock, and Pear Cardstock} are cut from the Artbooking Cricut® Cartridge. I used the Dot Embossing Folder on the card base and also sprinkled a little Honey Exclusive Ink™ to give just a splash of color on the White Daisy Cardstock. I wanted to give the elephants just a little pop so I added and trimmed 3D Foam Tape to the back of all three elephants.
