It’s just now October, but it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

For today’s post I’m using The Workshop On The Go® Frosted Cardmaking Kit, and the Sparkle and Shine paper packet from the NEW Holidays From The Heart Gift Guide.

For those of you who hand make your Christmas cards you understand it takes some time to get the materials around and to get the idea mapped out. The Workshops On The Go® Frosted Cardmaking Kit is perfect for mailing out Christmas cards. You get all of the products you need to make FIFTEEN beautiful Christmas cards in three different designs!!!!!!!! You get the cards, envelopes, stamp set, B&T Duos®, cardstock, embellishments, and a complete instructional brochure in the kit!  Just add the ink and you’re good to go!

For this month’s workshop I altered the cardmaking kit by using the NEW Sparkle and Shine paper packet, Juniper Exclusive Ink®, Ruby Exclusive Ink®, and Grey Wool Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Neutral Assortment. The card now has a completely different look!!! That is one of the best things about the Workshop On The Go® Cardmaking Kits…. Even when the initial supplies that come with the kit are gone, you can add different paper and embellishments and the cards will never look the same two years in a row!

 To add a bit of fun this month, I also made a card using one of those new stamp sets from the Holidays From the Heart Gift Guide. This fantastic chevron shape comes from the Charming Chevrons stamp set!! Using Outdoor Denim Cardstock as the base, I then added a layer of White Daisy Cardstock and began stamping the chevrons. The ink colors used for the chevrons include:  Buttercup Exclusive Ink®, Sky Exclusive Ink®, Pear Exclusive Ink®, and Sunset Exclusive Ink®. The sentiment I used comes from a stamp set that is included in the Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection and is stamped in Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink®.  To finish the card I added a double layer of Sunset Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Paradise Assortment and three sparkles from the Clear Sparkle Assortment. {Card inspired by Stamp-n-Paradise}

I’ve entered into another sketch challenge today that comes from Freshly Made Sketches, and is linked to their blog for this week’s challenge.

I’m once again using the NEW Sparkle & Shine Paper Packet that will be released on October 15 in the Holidays From The Heart Gift Guide. Using Ruby Exclusive Ink® and Cocoa Exclusive Ink® and the Remarkable Wreath stamp set to create this wreath. This stamp set is so versatile as it can be used for every season.

 I “fussy cut” the stamped image and adhered it to the card with 3D Foam Tape. I also added Liquid Glass to the berries on the wreath to give the card a bit of shine. The sentiment is also stamped in Ruby Exclusive Ink® using the stamp set from the Workshop On The Go® Frosted Cardmaking Kit.  This fabulous Baker’s Twine is from the Mini-Medley Accents Ruby Collection. I love that shimmer of silver that is braided into the twine!!
