Adorable Baby

Now that my son is older I don’t get to use my adorable baby stamp sets as often as I used to, so when I was making a card for my friend’s baby shower gift I knew exactly which stamp sets I wanted to use. I once again am referring back to a few retired stamp sets from Close To My Heart. I know I mentioned this in a previous post, but I really do love the fact that years after I purchased these stamp sets they are still in style and the image is just as clear as the day I purchased them.

Here is the card which was inspired by Humblechan :

While the stamp sets I used may be retired Close To My Heart has multiple baby themed stamp sets that are currently available, equally as adorable, and stamp sets I know you will return to for years to come!! {Did I mention that they start out for as little as $2.95?!?} Check out  Baby Carriage, Wild Wonders, and B is for Baby.

I’ve also taken on a Card A Day Challenge for the month of September. While I’m not competing in the Card A Day Challenge for any prizes or compensation but just for the fun and personal challenge of creating 30 cards in such a short time frame!  Being a mom to an active 5 year old and working full time it is definitely going to be challenge for me to be able to get 30 cards made within 30 days, but I’m so excited to give it a try!!

The challenge for Day 1 was to use a banner on a card, and the adorable heart banner on this card was made using the new Artbooking Cricut® Cartridge in Kraft Cardstock.

Here is the schedule for the Card A Day Challenge:

Check back soon to see my new creations!!
