I love when you see a sketch and you immediately have a clear vision in your head on what the finished card is going to look like. That is exactly what happened when I saw the sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Challenge!!
Using the color combination from the Dynamic Duos challenge I knew exactly what I was going to create!
Starting with a Colonial White Cardstock Base, I added a layer of Slate Cardstock followed by another layer of Colonial White Cardstock. The doilies and the sentiment, from the Love Doily Stamp Set, are stamped in Black Exclusive Ink®. For the final touch, I placed two strips of Slate Ribbon from the Workshops On The Go® For Always Cardmaking Kit*.
I’m in LOVE with the detail of this doily!!!! There is so much detail there is no need to add any further embellishments. I’m really, really pleased with the finished design of this card!
