I’m part of a great CTMH team! One of my teammates went above and beyond this past week and I wanted to send her a card of appreciation!! {What papercrafter doesn’t enjoy getting a handmade card in the mail?!?!  Papercrafters, more than anyone, know whether or not the images were fussy cut, appreciate the intricacy of each detail, and notice how it was customized to their taste! They truly can appreciate the time and energy that was invested!}

 CTMH is making room for the new and so am I by using up retired/retiring products!!! {Hint, hint. Wink, Wink. Click here to check out all the items that are now while supplies last and retiring on July 31} I need to clear my shelves to make room from the large orders I have been making!!!

The paper used on this card is from the retired Buzz and Bumble Paper Packet.  I also added two strips of Bronze Shimmer Trim and butted them against each other to give the look of one solid banner piece. The subtle distressed background stamp is from the {Hostess Exclusive} My Hero Stamp Set in Champagne Exclusive Ink™. The flower and leaves come from {the soon to be retiring} Jubilee Workshop On The Go™ Scrapbooking Kit Stamp Set. The flower was stamped in Sunset Exclusive Ink™, the leaves were stamped in Sweet Leaf Exclusive Ink™ and then fussy cut {I know some hate to fussy cut, but I actually enjoy it!!}. I used 3D Foam Tape behind the flower to pop it off the card and it also made it easy to tuck the leaves behind the flower. I cut the leaves into various lengths and used Liquid Glass just on the portion that was going to be tucked under the flower. By adhering the leaves to the card this way it allows the end of the leaves to jump off the card giving the card more dimension and a realistic touch. The sentiment {LOVE that font!} is from the Fabulous You Stamp Set in Cocoa Exclusive Ink™.  This particular friend/teammate loves glitter and shine so to add a little more shimmer I used Tattered Angels Gold Glimmer Mist after all of the elements of the card where adhered to the card base. My card is based off of this sketch from Cardabilities.
