#30yearsofhappy blog hop

Welcome to our National Stamping Month Blog Hop. This blog hop has nearly 40 CTMH consultants featuring the NEW #30yearsofhappy Stamp Set which has been released to celebrate the great accomplishment of Jeanette Lynton’s 30 year anniversary in the stamping and papercrafting industry! CTMH is a fantastic company and I am so proud to be a part of it! If you’ve come from Regina Kettering’s blog you are in the right place! This blog hop is one big circle so if you’ve started here WELCOME and you can continue on with the fun by clicking the link at the bottom of this post to continue on to the next consultant! If you happen to get lost along the way there is a complete list posted on Melinda Everitt’s blog.

There are so many fun images included in the #30yearsofhappy Stamp Set {did I mention that this stamp set is FREE when you spend $30 on qualifying stamp sets?!?} One of my favorite papercrafting themes is nautical, so my eye was immediately drawn to the anchor in this stamp set.

CTMH: #30yearsofhappy

Okay, let’s break this card down layer by layer! I started with a Whisper Cardstock base and then added a B&T Duo® from the Snowhaven Paper Packet. Next I grabbed a piece of Colonial White Cardstock, the Handwritten Print Stamp Set and the Vogue Alphabet Stamp Set. Using Indian Corn Blue Exclusive Ink™ I stamped the sentiment in first and second generation. I then grabbed two different B&T Duos® from the Seaside Paper Packet, I used the Artbooking Cricut® Cartridge to cut the banner and tore the brown B&T Duo® to let the white core show! Next I grabbed my 1″ Circle Punch and finished the card off by stamping the anchor from the #30daysofhappy Stamp Set in Indian Corn Blue Exclusive Ink™.

After I had all the pieces stamped and ready to put down with adhesive I wanted the Colonial White Cardstock to have more of a distressed look so I grabbed my Universal Background Stamp Set {retired}, Glacier Exclusive Ink™, and started stamping away in second generation just to add a little texture to the cardstock. And what’s a card without a little bling?!? I used the Triangle Border Punch and the Black & Grey Glitter Paper to create the fun little triangles tucked in the banner & scattered about the card!

Here’s a peek at another project I’m working on using the #30yearsofhappy Stamp Set. Be sure to subscribe to my blog so you can get the full scoop on this project in the next few days!
