It’s time for another Atlantic Hearts Card Sketch Challenge.
I started with a white card base and layered multiple B&T Duos™ from the Hopscotch Paper Packet. I cut the speech bubble in White Daisy Cardstock using the Artfully Sent Cricut® Cartridge. I added a couple strips of Black Glitter Paper, a little black stitching and Black Epoxy Bubbles for the final touches.
Now, I’ll be honest. My creative process struggled with this sketch. I don’t know why…the sketch is fantastic! The flower could be substituted for many things (stars, balloons, etc) but I think, as papercrafters, we can agree that sometimes we immediately have a great idea when we see a sketch and other times we have to let our imagination run a bit. As you can see from the sketch on the left, I widened my panels in the center of the card, used a speech bubble in place of the flower, and instead of using scalloped borders I used the glitter paper. I hope you’ll head on over to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and play along this week!!
Thanks for stopping by!
