It’s Monday which means it is time for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
For my card I started with a panel of Watercolor Paper. The focal point was created using washi tape and my Watercolor Paints to create the center rectangle. I then grabbed my Stitch Guide and added a stitched border around the rectangle. Instead of using a scallop shape, I grabbed September’s SOTM-Paper Garden and Black Exclusive Ink™. I then layered the Watercolor paper onto a piece of purple Basic Grey cardstock followed by a piece of Colonial White Cardstock. The diecut “Thanks” is from Mama Elephant and is cut twice in the same purple cardstock from Basic Grey and Black Cardstock. For final touches I added black sequins and Clear Sparkles. I added Bitty Sparkles to the center of the sequins and shaded them a dark hue by using my Black ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ Marker.
Now it’s your turn to create using the Atlantic Hearts Sketch #124!

Gorgeous! I can’t wait to try the water colors.
While I still think I need some practice and my technique needs some work, I absolutely LOVE watercolors! I just purchased some Peerless Watercolor Sheets and am so excited to give them a try too!
