My son attended Cub Scout camp last fall and I had a ton of photos. I wanted to fit as many as I could on one layout and I think I achieved my goal! I was able to get 13 photos on 1 layout! I used a cut file that is exclusively available from Big Picture Classes-Old Favorites with a New Twist taught by Ashley Horton.
I used CTMH’s Urban Paper Packet for the base page. I then cut down all of the photos to fit in the triangle slots and then randomly placed patterned papers in the remaining spaces. I used a majority of scraps from Basic Grey & CTMH (Steampunk Paper Packet & more Urban) and another label I’m unsure of to back the cut file.
I’ve mentioned in previous posts that I’m determined to use my stash this year so I’ve been digging deep to find embellishments!! I used random stickers, arrows and alphas for the title and I also threw on a few CTMH Aqua Dots & Timberline Stickers. I didn’t include journaling on this layout because this event will be a two page spread and I designated a journaling area on the second page.
I love how many photos I was able to incorporate on this single layout! The cut file helped to tone down the distractions from the busyness of the background in the photos and focus on the smiles of my boy!
Thanks for stopping by!
