So I’m not going to lie. I am WAY behind on this Card A Day Challenge!!! Today I’d actually have to make 5 cards to catch myself up, and well….let’s just be honest…that’s not gonna happen!!! BUT I am trying my very best, and I have completed three cards today.
(Note to all readers: I will be posting multiple blog entries over the next few days to try to get myself caught up, so I apologize if your inbox is bombarded with my blog entry notifications!)
The most recent sketch is from Sketch Frenzy Friday and is posted to their blog for this week’s challenge!
Here is my card:
Using B&T Duos from the Claire Paper Packet* and Slate Polka Dot Washi Tape I created the background of the card. Adding the banner cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut® Cartridge in Ruby Cardstock and stamped with a coordinating stamp set sentiment in Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink®. Along with a corrugated chipboard star* covered in white acrylic paint with a sprinkle of Prisma Glitter and a little extra added bling from the Sparkles Clear Assortment to make the card complete.
This makes the next card on the list complete!!!
1-Use A Banner
2- Emboss It
3- Make It Red
4- Thank You Card —-> Today!
Stay tuned for the upcoming cards on the list!!

Reminder: I’m playing along with the Card A Day Challenge for the fun and personal challenge of completing 30 cards within 30 days. I am not competing for reward, prize, or compensation.

Great use of the sketch–love that striped paper!!!
Thank you, Tammy!! 🙂 I love that chevron stripe too!! It’s my favorite from that collection!
Very patriotic but not… That doesn’t make much sense, hey, but… yeah. I like it A LOT 🙂
Thanks, Holli!! I completely understood what you meant! 🙂
What a great card! I love that it has a patriotic feel to it! Thanks for joining us at Sketch Frenzy Friday!
Thank you, Deb!
