This week I’m playing along with the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge & the CAS•ology Cue Card Challenge.
I started by rotating the sketch and using a Slate Cardstock base followed by a layer of White Daisy Cardstock. I used the Hello Wonderful Stamp Set for both the circle image and sentiment. To make the circle image multicolored I stamped it first in Canary Exclusive Ink™ and then used sponge daubers to add Thistle Exclusive Ink™ & Pixie Exclusive Ink™. The sentiment is stamped in plain ole Black Exclusive Ink™. I added a row of zig zag stitching (I had to fix my sewing machine immediately after my last debacle!) and a few sequins from Studio Calico.
This is the first time in over a decade that my husband and I are celebrating Valentine’s Day. The older I get the more important I think it is to celebrate each other. To acknowledge our relationship and to take time out of our busy schedules to show how much we mean to each other. While we are not going to great extremes, just going to dinner & exchanging small gifts this year, this card will work perfectly to give to my hubs.
Thanks for stopping by!

I have to agree with the other ladies’ comments also! This so delicate and beautiful! The sequins add such a lovely touch without overpowering the cards subtlety. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
